Judith started San Diego Woman Magazine with an extensive background in publishing and photography.  Judith holds a degree in Photojournalism from St. John's University in New York.

Judith is the author of two books including her latest
humorous book entitled “Hey, I’m Italian,” the story of growing up Italian in New York.  Judith has also ghostwritten and edited several financial and business books, as well as authoring several hundred articles, which have appeared in newspapers and magazines nationwide. She currently has two more books in the works, a cookbook for the Busalacchi family and a follow-up to her current humor book

Sonali Soni
Creative Director

Sonali comes to San Diego Woman Magazine with an extensive background in art and design. Sonali holds a Masters Degree in Textile Design & Development from The National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi, India, a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Art History and Aesthetics from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda India and Certificates in Digital Design, Stained Glass and Photography from UCSD in San Diego California. 

Her past experience includes positions as a Digital Designer for the University of California, San Diego and as an Art Director for an independent film company, Katha Films.

She is an instructor for the San Diego Museum of Art and UCSD. A true artist, her murals and other art work can be found gracing the walls of many local San Diegan homes.

Sonali works with small business' in helping them creating effective design concepts, graphic design, logos and visual communication solutions for their business needs.  Sonali is also an active Rotarian.

Carol Lebeau, renowned News Anchor for Channel 10 News in San Diego has announced her upcoming venture as a columnist for San Diego Woman Magazine.  In Carol’s new column “Transitions,” she will be discussing life after retiring from a news career spanning over 30 years, along with highlighting her current endeavors, and how she views life from the other side of the news desk.
